Primary syphilis (first stage):
Generally lasts about 21 days, a round, painless, usually hard sore (chancre) appears on the genitals, anus, or other places
The chancre may not be noticed and will heal in 3 to 10 days.
If not treated, it will progress to the second stage.
Secondary syphilis:
Includes a non-itching rash, commonly on the palms and soles of the feet.
White or gray lesions appear at the chancre in moist and hot areas such as the labia or anus.
Tertiary syphilis:It appears years to decades after the initial infection. If late syphilis is still not treated properly, it can affect the heart, brain, eyes, and nervous system. Symptoms of tertiary syphilis can be divided into gumma, cardiovascular syphilis, neurosyphilis, etc.
Latent syphilis:
Usually no symptoms.
If not treated, it will develop into the third and final stage of syphilis (tertiary) after many years.
Tertiary syphilis can cause brain and cardiovascular diseases.Recommended treatment:
Early stages of syphilis should be treated with penicillin (penicillin) injections.
Penicillin is the first-line drug for the treatment of syphilis and the only treatment recommended by the WHO for pregnant women with syphilis. Doctors may also give the antibiotic drugs doxycycline, ceftriaxone, or azithromycin as a second-line treatment.

Herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) generally causes infection in the upper body, such as the mouth, lips, nose, chin, etc. Herpes simplex virus type 1 is mainly transmitted through oral-to-oral contact, causing infection in or around the mouth (oral herpes).
However, herpes simplex virus type 1 can also be transmitted to the genital area through oral-to-genital contact, causing genital herpes, and herpes simplex virus type 2 is almost entirely transmitted through sexual intercourse, causing infection in the genital or anal area.
