A Hysterosalpingogram (HSG) is an essential imaging test used primarily in fertility evaluations. During the procedure, a specialized contrast medium (dye) is gently injected through the vagina and cervix into the uterus. X-ray images are then taken simultaneously.
This examination allows doctors to clearly visualize the shape and contour of the uterine cavity and accurately diagnose whether the fallopian tubes are patent (open), blocked, swollen, or structurally abnormal. For women experiencing difficulties conceiving, an HSG is a vital step in identifying potential causes of infertility.

Arrive Early: Please arrive 15 to 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to complete the registration process.
Bring Previous Records: Please bring any old pelvic ultrasounds, X-ray films, DVDs, or relevant medical reports for the doctor’s reference and comparison.
