How the report is presented
p-Tau217 results are usually shown against reference intervals to help doctors understand whether the result is within a normal, intermediate or higher range. The result alone cannot confirm or rule out Alzheimer’s disease and should be interpreted with symptoms, history, cognitive assessment and other investigations.
The sample type is blood. Report time is around 10 to 14 working days. The report image is for layout reference only; actual content depends on the individual test result.
Related information that may be reviewed
Where clinically appropriate, doctors may interpret p-Tau217 together with APOE genotype, Aβ42/40 ratio, imaging or other assessments for a more complete clinical picture.
